Golf 1.5 mm 100% USGA (3455) is a pure USGA sand screened to 1.5 mm, highly free-draining and resistant to compaction (bulk density of 1700 kg/m³). The 70/30 (3477) and 80/20 (3478) mixes combine USGA sand and peat moss for different drainage profiles.
Bunker sand 1 mm B-SAND (3394) prevents gravel from being propelled onto greens on approach shots thanks to its fine texture. Bunker sand 1.5 mm (3393) is a coarser sand, ideal for fairway bunkers.
Golf construction products have an in-place bulk density of 1650 to 1700 kg/m³ depending on the mix chosen.
Golf construction sands are primarily available at the Saint-Alexis-des-Monts site, with some products available on request.
The 80/20 contains 80% USGA sand and 20% peat moss: it is more free-draining than the 70/30 (70% USGA sand, 30% peat), which offers good resistance to compaction with slightly lower drainage.
